Thermal Imaging
The Building Regulation NI Technical Booklet Criterion 4, 2.54 states that 2.54 the building fabric shall be constructed such that there are no readily avoidable thermal bridges in the insulation layers caused by gaps within the various elements, at joints between elements and at the edges of elements such as those around door and window openings.
Unfortunately, there are still many existing and even new-built houses/buildings that have areas which are leaking heat due to poor design and/or construction. Another common problem area is dampness caused by ingress of water.
With Thermal Imaging we help you identify any insufficient or missing insulation both in the external walls and the roofs as well as locate any area of dampness and/or ingress of water in your house/building. This Thermal Imaging results assist in spotting problem areas, preparing action plans to solve the problems eventually providing our clients with an energy-efficient building and a healthy environment to live in.
This is ideal for new build, building refurbishment solutions, or house extensions.
